Details:

White Plains Presbyterian Church is seeking a part time Coordinator of Christian Education, for an average of approximately 8 hours/week, through the end of June. Sunday mornings 9 am – 12 noon, plus other activities schedule to be determined.

Responsibilities include: Teach church school and participate in Children's time during Sunday morning worship; Organize and lead Youth Group activities; Oversee elements of Confirmation Class program; Communicate with families regarding programs, scheduling, and any additional needs or concerns; Assist Worship and Music Committee in planning special worship services; Help to recruit additional volunteer teachers and youth leaders; Comply with all aspects of WPPC's Child Protection Policy

Qualifications: Biblical knowledge; education and/or experience in Christian education, teaching, and working with children and youth; previous training or openness to be trained in Godly Play is helpful
