Church Mission/Vision Statement 1. Share with the community our love of God and the grace He has bestowed upon us in Jesus Christ through local mission efforts, developments of programs for the retiree and ecumenical activities. 2. Share with the congregation our love of God and His love for us through small groups enjoying Christian fellowship, stewardship education, and improved communications. ‐Increase our opportunities for worshipful experiences by developing alternate worship services, expanding the music program, and by offering retreats. 3. Increase our opportunities to reach many young people in our congregation and community by enriching and expanding Christian education programs for children, youth, and young adults. Tasks, expectations, duties, supervision, assignments, and responsibilities for the position The premier tasks for this person include prepare and lead weekly and occasional liturgical season worship services; moderate monthly Session meetings; provide pastoral care such as hospital visits and home communion; and lead weekly Bible Study and biannual confirmation class. It is understood that this position will be part-time at 25 hours per week. Session leaders will continue responsibility for children and youth programs as well as mission, stewardship, property concerns and more.
