Job Title:
“Property Manager” to provide for the maintenance and repair of historic church buildings and
grounds on the town green in Bloomfield, New Jersey.
Company:
The Bloomfield Presbyterian Church on the Green is a small, community-minded congregation
whose motto, “Feeding Body and Spirit,” is lived out in its spiritual programming, its hunger
ministries, and the work currently underway to repurpose various spaces on the church
campus for wider use by community entities. Organized in 1796 as the Presbyterian Society of
Bloomfield, the church was rechartered in a merger with other area congregations in 1966.
Job description:
We are looking for a half-time (20 hrs/wk) individual with relevant experience and knowledge to
maintain/repair church buildings, equipment and systems and to facilitate work performed by
outside contractors. Pay is $20/hour.
Location:
The church is located in the historic town center, 147 Broad Street, Bloomfield, NJ, directly
across from Bloomfield High School.
