Market Square Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is currently seeking a temporary associate pastor to join the pastoral team, led by our Interim Senior Pastor. With a proud history, we have a strong presence in the capital city of Pennsylvania and the surrounding area. The temporary associate we seek will have broad skills, with a particular focus on educational programming. That includes continuing a children and youth program, with emphasis on recruiting and working with church volunteers. In addition to the focus on educational programming, this person will assist in worship planning, preach on a periodic basis, and be actively involved in our lively program. Among the thriving programs are ministry to homeless in the surrounding area, assisting in refugee resettlement outreach, commitment to racial and ethnic justice, and environmental sustainability.
